Spring is on the way! My favorite season. I love the return of warmth more than anything else ~ all of the new growth, flowers, wildlife and people enjoying the outdoors are a bonus!

There are so many areas in our lives that we can renew. I love this song by India Arie “Strength, Courage & Wisdom”, these three areas develop over time and deserve gratitude and acknowledgment. We gain strength, courage and wisdom through adversity, hindsight and patience. We’re always changing, life is always changing around us; and to renew and regenerate, we must be open to change.

Are you ready to renew and regenerate? Here’s a good start. Take a moment (now if you can) to look at the wheel here and assess how satisfied you are with each area of your life, on a scale of 1-10 (1 is low and 10 is high): Make your own list on a piece of paper or use this diagram. Put a number in the wheel or just outside of each section. Now, next to that number, put a dash and the number where you desire to be (i.e. 5-8). Sit with this for a moment, we’ll come back to it.

I was recently listening to a podcast interview on Thought Leadership with Host Chris McNeil and Guest Gina London. She said “You don’t change your thoughts with thoughts, you change your thoughts with actions.” This was a paradigm shift for me. While I believe repetitive actions do change the way we think; for most of my life, I have practiced the shortcut: transform my subconscious to reshape my life.

In the same breath I realized that working on my subconscious IS taking action! Hallelujah, I found a quote that helps me help you! Now, let’s go back to your ratings above ~ what if you could align your subconscious with your innermost desires so that the “actions” would feel natural and in your best interest? How would that feel for you? Would this be refreshing? Does it feel lighter?

Working with our subconscious so that it aligns with our desires is amazing. When we’re motivated to take actions from our subconscious, that come naturally without stress, it’s fantastic. This is exactly how I help myself and clients transform their lives. Whether you’re comfortable on your own through techniques you’ve learned, or you prefer to work with a counselor, working with your subconscious prevents self-sabotage and struggle. So, how do you start?

While you’re thinking about your life and your desires to change, I suggest that you first focus on your sleep, nutrition and hydration, and (believe it or not) healthy poops. When these three are balanced or you’re in a place where you’re comfortable with work in progress, then you’re starting from a healthy foundation. These are the non-negotiables in my practice and in my life. When your most basic functions are balanced or you have a handle on correcting them, you have an internal strength that supports you in all other efforts. From here, you are ready to go deep and communicate with your subconscious, step by step, to begin reaching your desired levels of satisfaction for each area in your life as you renew and regenerate!

Wishing you a happy Spring and I look forward to sharing more in the Summer issue!

A corporate beginning in hospitality led me to becoming an entrepreneur for over 30 years. After two successful businesses, I found a way to build a business based on my lifetime journey of a healthy body and holistic wellness. I learned how to reprogram my subconscious to maintain a healthy weight for the past 11 years and overcome traumas. I love helping humans (and wildlife) live their healthiest life on earth. From emotions and behaviors to nutrition and lifestyle. Hobbies include learning, gardening, creating delicious meals, Djembe, Tonal workouts, cycling and walking.
