As women, we are faced with struggles beyond comparison when it comes to self-confidence, loving ourselves and seeing ourselves as individuals just as gorgeous as the models on the front of all the magazines. What makes you beautiful? Really think about this question and answer it honestly. Really think of what creates the overall beautiful structure known as you.

To be completely beautiful, you must feel this way about yourself both inside and out then others will feel the same about you. Most importantly, being beautiful is having a combination of qualities such as self-reliance, constancy, persistence, honesty, humanity and discipline that can shine through you, making you a positive role model for everyone around you. The hurdles that society has created and put before us not only leaves many women feeling “un-pretty” but also discouraged from doing what we are meant to do and what we’re passionate about.

It’s hard to be someone who is left feeling so small compared to all of the “competition” before us and so drained of confidence and then at the same time be expected to instantly rise above it all and do extraordinary things. What we need to understand and live by every day is the belief that we are ALL beautiful. We can ALL do amazing things, accomplish our goals and dreams and make a difference that goes far beyond what others may view as external attractiveness. Beauty that is found on the inside and that reaches out in a way that impacts the lives of others and truly shines brighter than the pretty, new, glimmering eyeshadow will always be worth much more than any judgmental and stereotypical viewpoints about our beauty on the outside.

What if we could all feel beautiful—no matter what size, color, background or part of the world we come from. What if we were all strong, confident, resilient women? We’ve all heard of the many women’s empowerment organizations and support groups, and although many of them have made a difference in the lives of women all over the world for some, the problem of self-doubt still exists.

The BeauTeeful You Project was started with a mission to form a worldwide sisterhood, a worldwide support system, to be that one organization, that community, that family made up of women who share a common interest in fulfilling all of our life goals. It is a movement with the ultimate goal of impacting the lives of women all over the globe in one way or the other. In the BeauTeeful You Project, we see the glass as “half full.” That’s why we set out to spread M.O.P., which stands for Motivation, Optimism and Positivity, throughout the lives of women of all ages that is passed down through our children, grandchildren and is continued for all generations to come. The BeauTeeful You Project also strives to empower, educate and equip women with the knowledge and tools needed to overcome everyday barriers through peer mentorship, creating strong support systems, personal development and community involvement. By forming this unbreakable bond of empowered women all over the world, we believe that together we can create a movement so big that will unquestionably make a difference and have a big impact on every woman involved.

I’ve always held a strong passion for women empowerment and making a difference, which is the driving force behind The BeauTeeful You Project. My passion and drive to influence other females across the globe, combined with my experience in the T-shirt design printing industry and every woman’s love for fashion, I incorporated T-shirts as a symbol for showing support to the project.

How does it work? Each month a new BeauTeeful You design that communicates the inspiration and fire within our movement is featured, in which one can order from our community website. Once they receive their new shirt, women are encouraged to take a selfie or photo wearing it and then post it on their social media pages. This is how the movement and entire message is shared with the world. With each photo posted, females will ask other women to help them out with their project and include a brief description, explaining what we all set out to accomplish throughout the movement.

The Beautiful You Project is now focusing its efforts on going beyond just electronic growth and connection by expanding into establishing local chapters, with the home chapter located in Columbia, South Carolina. Women can get involved in person, start or be a part of their own BeauTeeful You chapter and really make a difference in their local communities, not just through a computer screen. The BeauTeeful You project works to give back to many charities, organizations and those in need on an international scale and has a goal to get every woman working together to make this all happen.

I hope you will please help me with my project, The BeauTeeful You Project. I am BeauTeeful. You are BeauTeeful. We are all BeauTeeful.
