How You Can Grow While Helping Others Bloom
“One day you will tell your story of how you overcame what you went through, and it will be someone else’s survival guide.” — Brene Brown
As a publisher, I hear some amazing stories. Sometimes they are told with a smile. Sometimes they are told through tears. Other times they are told in a whisper…but they all have three things in common.
First, the storytellers have a passion for sharing their story. This is what they are meant to do. This is their way of changing the world.
Second, the telling of the story is a part of their healing. The vast majority of my clients have survived through abuse, addiction, trauma, or heartbreak. They have come through that ordeal with a sense of purpose.
Third, they know that their mission is to share their story with others. This is how they change the world. They spread hope. They make the world a better place. They help others realize that they are not the only one going through a difficult time.
Sharing leads to healing. Healing leads to growth. Growth leads to blooming.
Once you’ve bloomed, you can help others heal. Help others grow. Help others bloom.
Keeping your story silent isn’t the way to change the world. Sharing your story is the key.
Share.
Heal.
Bloom.
Never think that your story isn’t important. Someone, somewhere is lying awake tonight, wishing they had an answer to their problem. That answer could come from you.
