Tidbits for Thought

Begin Today

So many people make New Years Resolutions. They also break them long before Valentine’s Day.

Why wait for the new year? Begin your new life today. Right now.

Sit down and design the future you want to have. Put it on paper. Write it down. Be vivid. Be detailed.

Visualize it in your mind and then figure out the steps you need to take in order to make that vision a reality.

Your Present is the Future You’ve Created

Where you are today is the exact place you should be.

Every choice you’ve made up until now has brought you to this present.

Six months ago (or a year ago, or ten years ago), you created the future you’d have — now you’re living in it.

Don’t like your present? Start making conscious decisions in order to shape a different future.

Stress Can Make You Stronger

The operative word is “can.” It doesn’t mean it automatically will.

If you have stress in your life, find out the cause. Is it finances? A relationship? Your job?

Even if you aren’t sure, sit down and think it out.

There may be a generalized stress, but I’ll bet there is a root cause.

When you find the cause, work on a solution. It may not be simple. Chances are it will be far from easy.

But you can reduce your stress if you take time and effort to change the cause(s).

Some people are too afraid to make the changes they need to. The stress they know is less scary than the uncertainty of making changes.

Don’t be afraid.

Be Be bold. Be daring. Be exceptional.
