As the days grow shorter and the wind brings a chill to the air, we instinctively know that the year is drawing to a close. The holidays are approaching. We spend more time indoors. The weather makes it harder to go outside and frolic, so we are much more tempted to sip a hot beverage and curl up with a book or binge our latest favorite show.
It can (and should) be a time of reflection and turning inward. It’s a time for self-examination. To ask yourself questions.
“What brings me joy?”
“What is weighing me down?”
“What do I want my life to look like?”
These are questions only you can answer, of course, but it doesn’t hurt to have someone you trust to be a “sounding board” – hearing things out loud is different than hearing them in your head. (How many times have you said, “That sounded a whole lot better in my head”? I know I say it a lot.)
Once you have your answers, now it’s time for Mindset, Manifestation, and Abundance. (I’m assuming you want your life to be full of abundance.) And “Abundance” means something different for everyone. It can mean financial success, healthy relationships, material goods, physical health, mental health, etc.
- Mindset
You’ll never achieve something you don’t truly believe will happen. If you envision a lifestyle that requires six figures to achieve, you’ll never accomplish it if you only believe you can make $30,000 a year.
Your “money ceiling” can change. It might take a while, but it can change. (An excellent book about money mindset that I highly recommend is Rich as F*ck by Amanda Frances.) If you can’t imagine a good relationship with a family member, you’ll never achieve it. You get where I am going with this.
- Manifestation
Visualize, sending out your energy into the Universe. Receive the answers you’re sent. Look for opportunities and take action.
- Abundance
This isn’t a “once and done” kind of thing. It takes constant Mindfulness to make sure you are continually helping the Universe reward you.
Developing Mindfulness is not hard. It takes a simple daily routine and commitment.
