Good Samaritan

Periodically I can be spotted at various stores and restaurants taking care of someone’s bill for them. Asking my server to secretly give mi their check or swiping my card as someone reached for their wallet at check out, leaving them quickly with “be blessed. have a fabulous day!”
Today is a day for unselfish actions to help those in need and to celebrate kindness. It’s National Good Samaritan day.

The term “good Samaritan” comes from the Bible parable where a Samaritan helped a stranger who had been robbed and beaten and left to die by the side of the road. The Samaritan not only cleaned the man’s wounds and clothed him, but took him to an inn where he paid for the man’s care.
Small, even anonymous, acts of kindness can go a long way. Have you done or experienced any lately? We’d love to hear about them.
